21 day creative challenge with sharonmcl

2025

In November let’s do a 21day creative challenge on gratitude. Each day choose what you are grateful for, and then express that gratitude through your creativity. At the end of 21days, you should have a maximum of 21 works of art. You choose your medium. You choose whatever you grateful for. Now there are 30days in November, so you have extra days to perfect your art. Have fun! Or you may choose to try a 30day gratitude challenge, finding three things every day.

Or reflect on 2024
The guidelines were:

  • commit to sit in creativity for a minimum of 21mins a day for 21sessions.
  • commit to be inspired by a new word each day or session.
  • sessions can be within the same day if it fits better into my schedule.
  • choose your medium and way prior to starting my first session.

Example: My inspiration was 21 blessings!  I called upon the highest beings of light and all the elementals to assist me in creating this painting for the highest good.  I listened to inspirational music as I painted, and sent all good vibes into this work of art.  As it is one painting with 21 blessings, 1. Health; 2. Happiness; 3. Abundance; 4.  Uplifting Connections; 5. Singing; 6. Dancing; 7. Movement; 8. Energy; 9. Awareness of awareness; 10. Flexibility; 11. Adaptable; 12. Innovative; 13. Inspiring; 14. Compassionate;  15. Wise; 16. Psychic talents; 17. Mystic abilities; 18. Mediumship; 19. Healer; 20. Alchemist; 21. Manifest. 🙏 and so it is.

In 2022, how this practice began? I highly recommend committing to sit for at least the 21days or 21sessions consecutively. (Because truthfully I found I was doing more then one word a day, just so in the creativity zone). I encourage all to be creative.

Discover you; and your art! Suggested materials:

A4 book with heavy watercolour paper

Whatever medium you choose to explore in your discovery book.  Suggested examples: acrylic paints, watercolours, collage, pens, pencils etc.

Paper palettes & keep for collage, if you choose.

Tracing paper, if you choose.

Clothes, towels, apron, brushes, water container etc.

Each day be inspired by a given word.  The first day the word that came to me, was “creative”.  Then for all the rest of the 21days I pulled a random word from cards.  Do art for at least 20mins a day consecutively!  Why?  21day will create a pattern of activation that activates your inner artist.
